 TOSEI CORPORATION (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Seiichiro Yamaguchi; Securities Code: 8923) (the “TOSEI”) is pleased to announce that, on March 22, we released information regarding Edogawabashi Tosei Building and Nakanosakaue Tosei Building (Former Daishin NS Building), office buildings held as fixed asset properties, acquired “Building-housing Energy-efficiency Labeling System (the “BELS”) certification.

About “BELS”

 BELS is a certification system in which one of the third-party evaluation organization assesses the energy-saving performance of buildings and evaluates them at five levels based on the guidelines established by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. By quantifying the energy-saving performance of buildings, it serves to promote energy-saving retrofits to owners, and also helps ensure that buildings with excellent energy-saving performance are properly evaluated in the marketplace.

Received a 5-star rating for energy-saving renovations, including LED work throughout the building

 “Edogawabashi Tosei Building” and “Daishin NS Building,” office buildings that we own as fixed assets, underwent energy-saving renovations in 2023, including LED lighting work throughout the buildings. As a result, the energy-saving performance of the properties was significantly improved, and “Edogawabashi Tosei Building” received a 5-star BELS rating and “Nakanosakaue Tosei Building” a 3-star BELS rating.
